BOULEVARDIER

While the gin-based Negroni is crisp, the Boulevardier is warming due to its whiskey base. It’s just right for a chilly evening. Like the Negroni, the drink is typically made with equal parts bourbon, Campari, and sweet vermouth.

GLASS: Lowball

GARNISH: Orange twist

1 oz/30 ml bourbon

1 oz/30 ml Campari

1 oz/30 ml sweet vermouth

Orange twist, for garnish

In a mixing glass filled with ice, add the bourbon, Campari, and sweet vermouth. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass with ice and garnish with an orange twist.

VARIATION: Feel free to add a bit more whiskey (¼ oz/7 ml) if you like your drink a little less bitter or herbal.
